BAGUIO CITY
Baguio City is about 240 kilometers from Manila,
Philippines. It is probably one of the
most frequently visited and explored tourist destinations in the northern part
of the Philippines. The main entry point to the natural wonders of the
Cordillera Region is inherently situated in the invigorating midst of lush
mountains, valleys and hills. Its long
and winding road deeply personifies the rich cultural heritage of the
Philippines. The
awesome type of climate that never changes all year round with chilly and spine
tingling weather is perfectly suitable for everyone especially for
honeymooners, the world over. Moreover, it has become the top choice of most
people because the “City of Pines” possesses the most amiable and well-rounded
tourist guides in town, the majestic and fluvial festivities and above anything
else, the extraordinary tourist attractions that you will surely not dare to
forget, for the rest of your fruitful and fun-filled lifetime. The “Summer
Capital of the Philippines”, has tremendously evolved through the years because
the aforementioned description of Baguio City, has been given a new and
refreshing meaning, of which, all of us must be aware of. Primarily,
Baguio is being dubbed as such because of its cool weather. To expound briefly,
her inherent cool breeze is the ideal and much needed respite from the heat
scorching temperature in Manila, during summer. Best of all, Baguio City is the
favorite vacation escapade of Filipino balikbayans and their loved one’s as
well. Likewise, foreign tourists across the globe visit Baguio City.
